Development and Marketing Specialist
Job Description
The Development and Marketing Specialist is responsible for marketing, fundraising, public relations, and employee recognition initiatives to promote Big Lakes Developmental Center and its programs, engaging clients, staff, stakeholders, and the broader community.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic direction for marketing, fundraising, public relations, and employee engagement activities.
- Develop marketing, fundraising, PR, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Plan campaigns and events spanning marketing, fundraising, PR, and employee recognition.
- Oversee all activities related to marketing, fundraising, public relations, and employee recognition.
- Implement marketing, fundraising, PR, and employee recognition initiatives.
- Develop and execute initiatives and events to promote Big Lakes and all programs and services.
- Engage clients, employees, stakeholders, and the general public through marketing, fundraising, and employee recognition activities.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in mass communications, journalism, marketing, graphic arts, English, or a closely related field is required.
- Strong organizational abilities with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with software to create print and audiovisual media, including management of social media platforms.
