Canvasser (Door-to-Door Marketing Representative)

Destiny Painting is hiring a Neighborhood Marketing Representative to represent our team door-to-door across Tacoma, WA and Puyallup, WA. If you enjoy outdoor work, meeting people, and setting appointments for the sales team, this role offers paid training, a consistent weekly schedule, and performance-based bonuses with advancement opportunities into sales, leadership, and marketing roles.

What you’ll do

• Have friendly, professional conversations with homeowners in assigned neighborhoods
• Walk designated neighborhoods and follow assigned routes (outdoors)
• Schedule FREE painting estimates for our sales consultants
• Place neighborhood marketing signs when appropriate
• Track appointments and daily activity using a mobile scheduling and tracking app
• Work toward daily and weekly appointment goals while maintaining excellent customer interactions
• Represent Destiny Painting with professionalism and a positive attitude
• Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to support company goals

Schedule and service area

• Tuesday – Friday: 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Sunday & Monday: off
• Onsite coverage: Tacoma, WA and Puyallup, WA
• Year-round work: not seasonal

Compensation

Weekly earnings:

• During Training: approximately $500–$800 per week
• After Training: $800–$1,200+ per week is common for team members who consistently follow the proven system
• Top performers: regularly earn $1,500+ per week

Compensation includes: base pay, performance bonuses, paid training, and advancement opportunities based on performance.

What you’ll need

• Reliable transportation to travel between assigned neighborhoods
• A smartphone to use the scheduling and tracking app
• Ability to comfortably walk 3+ miles per day
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to accept coaching and feedback
