Job Description

Nicka K New York is seeking an Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable Analyst to support its Global Business Development and Digital Marketing functions. This onsite role in Melville, New York centers on keeping AR and AP processes accurate, coordinating between finance and revenue-driving teams, and ensuring smooth billing and spend tracking. The position emphasizes close collaboration across sales, marketing, and finance to uphold financial integrity and timely cash flow.

Responsibilities

Oversee invoicing for both domestic and international wholesale clients.
Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payments and follow up on outstanding balances.
Reconcile AR accounts and resolve discrepancies with sales teams and customers.
Coordinate with Global Business Development on billing terms, credits, and deductions.
Maintain accurate records of payments, adjustments, and account status.
Prepare AR aging reports to support cash flow forecasting.
Process vendor invoices for marketing, advertising, and operational expenses.
Verify invoice accuracy and secure proper approvals from internal teams.
Manage payment schedules and ensure timely disbursement of funds.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
Maintain organized AP records and documentation.
Partner with Sales and Digital Marketing teams to track budgets, campaigns, and spend.
Assist in financial reporting related to promotions, campaigns, and client performance.
Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
Help improve internal processes for billing, collections, and expense tracking.
Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners regarding financial matters.

Requirements

Minimum of two years of experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, or related finance operations.
Strong attention to detail and solid organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or equivalent.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
