Job Description

The Senior Marketing Events Manager at Atera leads the planning, execution, and elevation of flagship in-person and virtual events, partnering with the Head of Events & Field Marketing to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and pipeline growth.

Responsibilities

Plan and execute conferences and summits: oversee Atera’s presence at industry conferences and trade shows, ensuring alignment with business goals, smooth logistics, and strong return on investment.
Own Atera hosted events: lead all aspects of Atera meetups, customer gatherings, and exclusive programs in North America.
Flagship virtual experiences: manage and deliver key virtual events including Ateraverse and Autonomy Day, creating immersive experiences for attendees worldwide.
End-to-end event management: handle all logistics and operations, including budgeting, contracts, vendor management, booth design and setup, registration, shipping, travel, and on-site support.
Cross-functional collaboration: partner with Sales, Customer Success, PR, Content, social and Acquisition teams to align event strategy with business objectives, maximize exposure, and drive measurable impact.
Creative contributions: source and manage giveaways, event materials, and unique experiences for customers and prospects; assist with special projects and campaigns.
Documentation and knowledge management: maintain event files, calendar, Salesforce campaigns, Monday Boards and other internal systems.

Requirements

5+ years of marketing events management experience within B2B SaaS, including live and virtual events, meetups, and conferences.
Extremely detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and budgets simultaneously; anticipates needs and problem-solves effectively.
Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to liaison with internal teams, vendors, and external stakeholders.
Confident in managing contracts, budgets, and vendor relationships.
Ability to design engaging, innovative event experiences that deliver business results.
Thinks and acts fast in a startup environment; flexible and solution-focused when managing last-minute changes or challenges.
Willingness to travel as required.
Positive, proactive, and collaborative approach with a passion for creating memorable event experiences.
