Job Description

Onsite in Upland, CA, Dorna Robotics is offering an entry-level role for someone who can combine technical marketing with business development. You will own day-to-day customer discovery and qualification, while also creating hands-on robot demo videos and content that helps prospects understand what the technology can do. Compensation includes a base salary plus commission tied to qualified and closed deals.

What you’ll do

Research and identify potential customers in lab automation, biotech, and life sciences
Conduct outreach via email, LinkedIn, and other channels using AI-assisted workflows
Manage leads, follow-ups, and the pipeline in a CRM
Run introductory calls, qualify opportunities, and hand off relevant prospects to the founders
Prepare and deliver robot demonstrations, online and in person
Represent Dorna at trade shows and industry events
Plan, film, and edit robot demonstration videos
Publish regular content including LinkedIn posts, YouTube videos, and blog articles
Create case studies, product photos, and sales materials
Keep website content current

What you bring

A genuine interest in robotics, automation, or lab science
Clear, confident communication in writing and on-camera
Comfort reaching out to new people and learning from rejection
Self-motivation and strong organization with the ability to own your work without close supervision
Some experience with video, content creation, or sales (school projects and personal work count)
Engineering or life sciences background (biology, biotech, chemistry) preferred, but not required
AI tools fluency is a plus

Success milestones

First 30 days: You know the product well enough to run a demo on your own and publish your first videos.
By 90 days: You consistently book qualified meetings each month, run demos independently, and publish new content every week.

Compensation

$57,000.00 to $68,700.00 per year (base salary), plus commission that rewards qualified and closed deals.

How to apply

Send your resume, a short introduction, and a 60-second video of yourself. The video can introduce you or explain something technical you find interesting. Phone footage is fine, and links to other videos, content, or projects are welcome.

Tools you’ll use: LinkedIn, YouTube, CRM, and AI tools.
