Job Description

This in-house marketing coordinator role at Travel + Leisure Co. focuses on in-person outreach with prospective and current resort owners and on scheduling guests to meet with a sales presenter for a presentation. The position is based onsite in Lihue, HI, and requires a minimum of 1 year of related experience along with a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Serve as a positive and professional brand ambassador for Travel + Leisure
Partner with the resort staff to receive arrival sheets of guests checking in
Greet, present, and incentivize prospective customers to attend a sales-preview tour
Screen and qualify potential customers based on company guidelines
Make sales-tour reservations and collect required deposits
Greet, present and incentivize prospective customers to attend a sales presentation in accordance with all company policies, compliance standards and regulatory requirements while maintaining minimum performance goals (80% time)
Attend all scheduled training sessions, department meetings, keep current on marketing information and materials, keep current on industry trends, and set and review performance goals weekly, monthly and annually. (20%)

Requirements

Previous Vacation Ownership/Timeshare Sales and/or marketing experience required
Must maintain production standards

Compensation

During the initial training period, the hourly wage is $20.00 plus commissions and bonuses. After the initial training period, the compensation is the state’s minimum wage per hour, plus commissions and bonuses.
The hourly rate for this role is $16.00 - $20.00 plus commissions and bonuses.
