Job Description

The Digital Marketing & Social Media Coordinator supports LifeServe Blood Center’s donor recruitment and digital growth by managing social media and digital channels, optimizing performance with analytics, and helping the organization’s marketing and communications efforts stay consistent across platforms. This hybrid role includes in-house work approximately three days per week.

Key Responsibilities

Manage LifeServe social media channels by creating, scheduling, and publishing content; monitor and respond to audience interactions; and identify opportunities to increase audience growth, online engagement, and blood donation appointments.
Collaborate with PR coordinators, the graphic designer, and other team members to develop and execute digital marketing campaigns across multiple platforms, ensuring messaging aligns with LifeServe brand standards.
Maintain and update website content to keep information accurate, timely, and optimized for user experience.
Use Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, and other marketing analytics tools to measure campaign and content performance, identify trends, and recommend improvement opportunities.
Deploy email and SMS marketing campaigns using the organization’s marketing automation platform and monitor and improve campaign performance.
Monitor social media trends, emerging platforms, and digital best practices to identify opportunities relevant to LifeServe’s mission.
Support occasional evening and weekend work.
Maintain confidentiality of donors, team members, financial or proprietary records, and other information at all times.
Maintain acceptable attendance.
Work with the Marketing and Public Relations team to execute and optimize digital marketing initiatives.

Schedule and Work Location

This hybrid position requires the team member to be in-house approximately three days per week. The other two days may include remote work.

Requirements

Working knowledge and experience working on a computer system required.
Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, etc.) and willingness to learn other software.
A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, advertising, public relations, digital media, or a related field preferred.
2-3 years of professional experience in digital marketing, social media, or a related field preferred; an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience may be considered.
Holds a current driver’s license and has a motor vehicle report meeting insurability requirements required.
Maintain confidentiality of donors, team members, financial or proprietary records, and other information at all times.
Maintain acceptable attendance.
Occasional evening and weekend work required.
