Job Description

A Community Education Marketing and Communication Specialist develops content and designs for Community Education materials across channels and reports to the Manager of Marketing & Communication.

Responsibilities

Writes, develops, and designs content for a broad range of Community Education marketing vehicles and publications, including the district website, social media channels, catalogs, and flyers.

Requirements

A minimum two‑year certificate in communication, graphic design, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience as determined by the District.
Bachelor of Science or Arts in Communications, Marketing, Community Education, or a related field.
Experience with budget supervision.
Knowledge of Community Education statutes, rules, and policies.
Experience with video production and editing.
Experience with digital photography and editing.
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.
Stays informed on education-related news and developments.
Three years of experience in a similar role or with equivalent duties.
