Role Overview
We are seeking a results-driven marketing leader with deep expertise in digital performance marketing. This role goes beyond simply launching campaigns and generating reports; you will own hands-on mastery of Google and YouTube advertising, have a strong grasp of how platform algorithms behave, and drive qualified leads, phone calls, event registrations, and membership growth for high-value offerings. The ideal candidate will also know how to practically apply AI tools to speed up analysis, testing, and outcomes. This is a contract position and local candidates only. You will be accountable for outcomes, not just effort.

Core Responsibilities
- Own, manage, and optimize Google Search, Display, Performance Max, and YouTube campaigns with an in-depth understanding of algorithm behavior
- Drive lead generation and call generation for high-value, long-consideration products or services
- Plan and execute event promotion campaigns, including pre-event demand generation, registration optimization, and post-event follow-up
- Build and scale club or membership acquisition programs, focusing on quality, retention, and lifetime value
- Apply AI tools and workflows to accelerate campaign analysis, creative testing, audience insights, reporting, and optimization
- Monitor and adapt to algorithm changes, policy updates, and platform shifts proactively
- Develop, deploy, and optimize email marketing campaigns supporting lead nurture, event attendance, and membership conversion
- Ensure accurate tracking, attribution, and conversion integrity across calls, forms, CRM, and offline conversions
- Lead and manage a marketing team and external partners with clear performance expectations
- Produce concise, executive-level reporting focused on results, insights, and decisions—not activity logs
Required Experience
Digital Performance and Lead Generation
- 5+ years of performance-driven digital marketing experience with a focus on lead generation
- Direct ownership of Google Ads and YouTube Ads
- Proven success driving leads and phone calls, not just traffic
- Experience marketing big-ticket products or services with long consideration cycles
Event and Membership Marketing
- Direct experience promoting events, launches, or live activations
- Track record of driving registrations, attendance, and post-event conversion
- Experience growing membership, club, or subscription-based programs
- Understanding of LTV, retention, churn, and cohort performance
AI and Automation Experience
- Practical experience using AI tools to improve marketing performance and efficiency
- Ability to apply AI to creative ideation and rapid testing
- Ability to apply AI to campaign analysis and insight generation
- Ability to apply AI to reporting automation and synthesis
- Ability to apply AI to audience research and messaging refinement
- Clear understanding of where AI helps and where human judgment is required
Qualifications That Matter
- Strong command of Google Ads, YouTube Ads, GA4, and attribution tools
- Experience with offline conversion tracking
- Comfortable making decisions with incomplete or imperfect data
- Understands how budgets, creative, conversion signals, and AI-driven optimizations influence algorithm behavior
- Proven ability to manage teams or agencies and hold them accountable
- Analytical, disciplined, and results-oriented mindset
