Job Description
Grow your impact as a Marketing & Development Assistant with Community Assessment & Treatment Services in Cleveland, OH (onsite). This full-time role supports the Development Office across development administration, marketing, social media, and public relations, helping drive fundraising efforts through donor communication, campaign materials, and campaign reporting. If you enjoy balancing hands-on marketing work with operational details, this position offers a meaningful way to contribute.
You will help develop and maintain marketing strategies and materials, manage social media and website updates as needed, and support fundraising activities that include donor and public relations work, direct mail appeals, and special events. Your day-to-day efforts will strengthen the systems behind fundraising, from donation processing and acknowledgments to data tracking and campaign efficiency analysis.
What You’ll Do
- Process donations and prepare acknowledgment letters and other correspondence.
- Create monthly fundraising reports and other database reports as needed.
- Continually update and correct database records.
- Conduct preliminary research on prospective corporations, foundations, and individual donors.
- Coordinate productions and mail appeal letters.
- Analyze data to determine campaign efficiency.
- Track tax credit donations in the database and keep a file for each tax credit donor.
- Maintain guest lists and gather and prepare registration materials for fundraising events, along with other event duties as assigned.
- Assemble media and donor kits for events and meetings.
- Serve as the primary lead on creating marketing and public relations materials.
- Ensure marketing materials undergo regular review and adhere to agency guidelines.
- Assist with planning events.
- Maintain the organization’s social media presence (including Facebook, Twitter, etc.).
- Assist with website maintenance and updates as needed.
- Complete other duties assigned by the Director of Development.
What We’re Looking For
- 2 years of experience in marketing, non-profit management, social media management, and/or website management.
- High School Diploma required.
Compensation and Schedule
$17.00 to $20.00 per hour with an expected schedule of 40.0 hours per week. This is an in-person full-time position. Your supervisor will be the Director of Development.
