Field Marketing Specialist-Canvasser

The Home Doctor is seeking a part-time Field Marketing Specialist-Canvasser to connect with homeowners near recently completed exterior projects, promote services, and secure no-obligation consultations. This onsite role includes face-to-face outreach in assigned neighborhoods with hourly pay plus bonuses tied to demos and sales.

Role Overview

As a canvasser on a field marketing team, you will canvass assigned neighborhoods and introduce The Home Doctor using real completed projects as a conversation starter. Your focus will include identifying homeowners who are interested in exterior home improvements and setting confirmed appointments with homeowners who are available.

Responsibilities

• Canvass assigned neighborhoods as part of a team
• Introduce The Home Doctor using real, nearby completed projects as a conversation starter
• Identify homeowners interested in windows, roofing, siding, doors, gutters, or insulation
• Set confirmed appointments with all homeowners present

Requirements

• Outgoing, confident communicators who enjoy meeting people
• Comfortable walking and working outdoors in varied weather
• Reliable, punctual, and coachable with a positive attitude
• Able to hear “no” and keep going
• Professional appearance (company shirt, khakis, and badge)
• No smoking, drugs, or alcohol on the job
• Smartphone required
• No experience needed; training provided on scripts, objection handling, and appointment setting

Compensation and Bonus Structure

Compensation combines guaranteed hourly pay with performance-based bonuses.

• Pay: $12.77/hour
• Bonus per demo: $100 for every appointment you set that results in a completed consultation
• Bonus per sale: $100 for every appointment that turns into a sale
• Part-time schedule: 25 hours/week
• Expected hours: 25.0 per week

Schedule

• Part-time, 25 hours per week
• Afternoon/evening weekday shifts and Saturday shifts
