Alcon invites a Senior Associate in Marketing Communications to operate onsite in Fort Worth, TX, guiding marketing initiatives from concept to launch. In this role, you will collaborate with brand teams and external agencies to shape promotional materials, manage schedules and budgets, ensure regulatory compliance, and assess the effectiveness of marketing tools.
Responsibilities
- Lead marketing initiatives and promotional materials end-to-end, aligning with brand strategy while tracking timelines, budgets, and deliverables to maximize ROI.
- Collaborate with brand, creative agencies, and cross-functional teams to explore new ideas, define scope, milestones, and ensure alignment throughout execution.
- Create and manage project briefs and guide agency partners on design, copy, and content needs for marketing assets, ensuring timely delivery.
- Make decisions and outline next steps to drive projects toward successful completion.
- Route all materials through regulatory, medical, and legal reviews to ensure compliance with established standards and policies, including claims database and review items.
- Oversee production schedules and the delivery of materials and assets.
- Negotiate with agencies or vendors and lead agency/vendor selection for projects.
- Coordinate with agencies/vendors to establish quotes and estimates.
- Involve procurement as necessary.
- Champion assigned budgets for individual tactics and track project expenses with the brand team to ensure on-budget delivery.
- Build relationships with the sales team to understand market dynamics and better meet needs.
- Engage the sales force advisory board and conduct field-testing to gain alignment before implementation and spend.
- Identify needs and create assets accordingly.
- Measure the effectiveness of tools and share results with key stakeholders.
- Track and defend against competitive entries and initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelorโs Degree or equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +10 yrs.; Assoc.+6 yrs.; M.S.+0 yrs.)
- 2 years of relevant experience
- Fluency in reading, writing, understanding, and communicating in English
