Job Description

Bethesda Big Train seeks a college or graduate student to serve as a Marketing and Graphic Design intern for the Summer 2027 season. This onsite opportunity in Bethesda, MD supports the front office with writing and design work for public-facing promotional materials.

Internship Overview

As a fellow, you will contribute to online marketing efforts by creating and preparing graphics for use before, during, and after games. The role also includes collaboration with internal staff and partners to ensure timely delivery of visual content for social and other promotional channels.

Responsibilities

Attend all Big Train home games and some away games
Design pre-game, in-game, and post-game graphics for online use
Collaborate with social media managers and the photographer to incorporate visual content into the team’s online marketing strategy
Work closely with the photographer to share material for prompt delivery of pre- and post-game graphics and other graphics as required throughout the season
Partner with full-time Big Train staff to create visually appealing merchandise and promotional material
Assist full-time Big Train staff with set-up and post-game procedures and other duties as assigned

Requirements

College or graduate student
Ability to work night and weekend events
Graphic design experience and access to a computer with appropriate software
Experience working under tight deadlines
Basic knowledge of baseball
