Job Description

Bellona USA is seeking an experienced Marketing and Sales Manager to lead commercial operations and support growth across North America. Based in Paterson, NJ in an onsite capacity, this role combines team leadership, strategy, and day-to-day sales execution across both B2B and B2C/D2C channels.

In this position, you will oversee regional sales representatives and independent sales agencies, strengthen dealer and showroom operations, and use forecasting, KPI design, and CRM-driven automation to improve performance and client retention.

Role overview

Manage sales and marketing leadership, including task assignment, coaching, and performance evaluations
Build and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies spanning traditional B2B wholesale and B2C/D2C e-commerce ecosystems
Develop from scratch, train, and manage high-performing regional sales representatives and independent sales agencies across the US market
Own day-to-day commercial operations such as client portfolio expansion, dealer network management, and showroom operations

Commercial planning and performance

Prepare and review sales forecasts, commercial budgets, margin analyses, and market performance reports for strategic planning
Design, implement, and optimize sales KPI frameworks, commission schemes, and performance incentives
Use CRM platforms and sales automation tools to streamline pipeline management and enhance productivity and retention

Collaboration and market awareness

Coordinate with cross-functional teams and align initiatives with corporate headquarters
Stay current on industry trends, competitive landscapes, and retail best practices to identify expansion opportunities

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus
10+ years of progressive experience in sales and marketing roles within the home furniture and bedding industries, with a proven track record
Strong North American market knowledge and an established network within furniture retail chains, distributors, and independent stores, with Tri-State/East Coast focus
Leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage decentralized or centralized teams of at least 5–10 members
Advanced analytical and problem-solving ability, including sales forecasting, budget management, and CRM proficiency (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
Valid New Jersey driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively in-state and interstate for dealer visits and trade shows
Ability to perform moderate physical activity and lifting during showroom setups or sample demonstrations, consistent with ADA guidelines
Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and adapt in a fast-paced retail environment
Professional fluency in English; Turkish proficiency is a distinct advantage for internal corporate communication
Legal work authorization to reside and work in the US (US Citizen, Green Card, or valid work visa), and reside in or be willing to relocate to NJ; must clear a background check
