Marketing Ambassador

LetsTrade® is building a community-forward marketing team in Reno, NV, and this part-time Marketing Ambassador role is central to that effort. You will represent the LetsTrade® brand at local events and community activations, helping attendees discover the app, learn how it works, and get involved.

This is an in-person, event-based position on an as-needed basis. If you enjoy meeting new people, speaking with the public, and creating a welcoming booth experience, this could be a strong fit.

Role Overview

As a Marketing Ambassador, you will engage event attendees, explain the purpose of the LetsTrade® app, encourage downloads and account creation, and support both booth activities and event-related content. You will also help potential businesses get oriented and direct more detailed questions to the LetsTrade® team.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent LetsTrade® positively and professionally at local events
• Talk with attendees and explain what the LetsTrade® app does
• Encourage attendees to download the app and create an account
• Help users understand how to list items, make offers, and trade through the app
• Assist with booth setup, breakdown, and overall event organization
• Support event activities including giveaways, games, and QR code promotions
• Support social media content during events and activations
• Be comfortable appearing in photos and videos used for LetsTrade® marketing
• Assist with app support for potential businesses interested in joining LetsTrade®
• Answer basic app questions and route more detailed inquiries to the LetsTrade® team
• Help keep the booth space energetic, clean, and welcoming
• Create excitement around LetsTrade® and encourage community participation

Requirements

• Friendly, outgoing personality with comfort speaking to new people
• Strong communication skills
• Reliable and punctual, with a professional approach
• Ability to work in a fast-paced event environment
• Comfort being on camera for social media content
• Interest in community events, local businesses, thrifting, trading, or marketplaces
• Basic knowledge of social media and mobile apps preferred

Schedule

• As needed, part time, and event-based
• Hours vary based on event schedules, business needs, and ambassador availability
• Many events may occur on weekends, in the evenings, or during local community events

Compensation and Incentives

• Pay: $15 per hour
