Position summary
The Senior Marketing Manager delivers expert B2G marketing strategy and execution support for public sector programs. With deep B2G experience, you will advise clients, design campaigns, and deliver measurable outcomes that raise awareness, generate demand, and engage prospects, aligning efforts with each client’s KPIs and business goals.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic insights and data backed recommendations to clients
- Develop deep expertise in client products, solutions, and public sector audience segments
- Monitor relevant B2G events and trends to maximize in person networking, awareness, and educational opportunities
- Leverage AI agents, AI tools, and GBR strategy teams for research, context, and education
- Pursue ongoing learning on current B2B and B2G marketing trends, offering innovative ideas and best practices
- Lead brainstorming sessions and coach client teams on impactful campaign execution
- Design, develop, implement, and manage campaigns tailored to client sales and marketing objectives
- Plan and execute marketing events and activities aligned with client goals and success metrics
- Serve as the B2G marketing expert on cross functional projects and initiatives
- Stay current on B2B/B2G and AI trends for short form content across email, blogs, and social media
- Create short form content using AI and GBR best practices to support campaigns
- Ensure all content adheres to client brand and is error free
- Analyze campaign performance and measure ROI
- Deliver quarterly results summaries to highlight achievements and growth opportunities
- Develop and maintain complete project briefs and ensure alignment at kickoff
- Build trusted advisor relationships with clients, aligning B2G insights and marketing strategies with their goals
- Attend onsite visits and in person meetings to foster strong client relationships
- Participate as a trainer in client facing workshops and trainings when requested
- Collaborate with the GBR team on internal and external projects to ensure success
- Deliver clear project briefs to support marketing activities and ensure timely, high quality execution
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 10+ years of experience in technology marketing products or services to organizations of varying sizes
- At least 5 years of field marketing experience for government, education, healthcare, or regulated industries with proven audience targeting success
- Experience in field marketing, channel marketing, or campaign development
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast paced environment
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking, problem solving, and communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace and generative AI platforms (ChatGPT, Gemini); experience with Wrike, Asana, Monday.com or Jira is a plus
